Support the Business Development Manager in developing pricing solutions for Domestic and Cross-Border Trucking. The role will be responsible for pricing calculations, RFQ/RFP and tender support, cost analysis, quotation preparation, and preparation of customer and management presentations.
How you create impact
- Prepare and coordinate pricing for domestic and cross-border road transportation RFQs, tenders, and spot quotations.
- Collect and validate cost inputs from transport partners, including freight, fuel surcharge, tolls, customs, waiting time, and other applicable charges.
- Analyze customer requirements, transportation routes, vehicle types, cargo specifications, and service requirements to ensure accurate quotations.
- Maintain pricing files, rate databases, and quotation records, and support timely updates to existing rates.
- Coordinate with BD, Operations, Procurement, and transport partners to clarify requirements and ensure pricing accuracy.
- Support the BD Manager and senior team members in pricing-related activities and customer projects.
- Coordinate with internal teams and transport partners to obtain required information and resolve pricing queries.
- Share pricing findings and market information with the team to support continuous improvement.
- Prepare transportation cost calculations and proposed selling rates in line with company pricing guidelines.
- Support margin and profitability checks to ensure quotations meet agreed commercial requirements.
- Compare supplier/partner costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain accurate pricing data to minimize quotation errors and financial risks.
- Support the BD team in developing pricing strategies for domestic and cross-border trucking opportunities.
- Conduct basic market and competitor rate analysis to support pricing decisions.
- Identify potential cost optimization opportunities through alternative routes, vehicle types, transport partners, or service solutions.
- Support RFQ/tender analysis and provide pricing insights to help develop competitive and sustainable solutions.
