We are on the hunt for a highly motivated sales guru to join the team as a Key Account Manager (National Account Program).
Reporting to the General Manager Sales & Marketing, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining key relationships, managing the day-to-day activities of your accounts, and ensuring exceptional customer service for your portfolio of Key Accounts.
Setting itself apart from similar roles in the market, a significant portion of your role will be to identify, pursue and close new business sales opportunities for large key accounts, specifically targeting customers who trade across Air, Sea and Road!
How you create impact
New Business Development

Identify new business prospects within the Key Account scope, and complete discovery calls to understand their needs and fit as a potential customer.

Engage in online and physical meetings with potential customers to build relationships.

Create and convert a strong pipeline of Key Account prospects and opportunities to deliver on sales targets and KPIs.

Proactively manage and expand relationships with allocated key customers with a focus on new business.

Act as a consultant for customers and as a subject matter expert, including developing and delivering sales proposals and presentations on Kuehne+Nagel products and services.

Build end-to-end solutions based on Kuehne+Nagel’s services and solutions as well as the online platform myKN.

Provide quotations in collaboration and alignment with the National Sea Logistics Revenue Manager and BU pricing teams.
Customer Experience & Account Management

Provide an exceptional customer experience through effective and efficient responses to customer enquiries and issues, both internal and external.

Monitor the development of booked, shipped and invoiced volumes of your accounts.

Facilitate the implementation of new and additional business alongside the BU Implementation and Customer Care Teams.
