Due to a period of growth within our Aerospace division, we are looking for an experienced Aerospace Operational Care Specialist to manage one of our largest Aerospace customers. As a dedicated Aerospace Operational Care Specialist, you will be a key contact for this complex, yet rewarding key account, requiring 24/7 coverage. As the successful candidate, you will have at least 3-5 years import and/or export airfreight experience, and a strong passion for delivering customer excellence.
How you create impact

Act as the primary customer liaison, providing real-time shipment updates, managing exceptions, and delivering resolutions.

Execute job orders by determining routing, service type, and delivery deadlines.

Apply industry knowledge to understand customer needs and respond to time-critical requests.

Demonstrate expertise in airline routings, airport operations, and global time zones.

Align with customer business requirements and meet all service KPIs.

Respond to AOG (Aircraft on Ground) emergencies, including after-hours call-outs.

Ensure regulatory compliance and accurate documentation for all shipments.

Collaborate with local and overseas Kuehne+Nagel stations and agents to ensure smooth shipment execution.
What we would like you to bring

A minimum of 3+ years air logistics experience, preferably in export airfreight

Having a Customs PIN is advantageous

Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills

A passion for dealing with customers and solving complex, time-critical problems

Ability to work under pressure

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Strong organisational skills including the ability to prioritise tasks

A positive work ethic, attitude and someone who has a passion for customer excellence
Please note that the hours and days of work for this position is our standard business hours, Monday to Friday. However, due to the 24/7 nature of the aerospace business, your hours and days of work may change or shift to meet operational and customer requirements.
