As an Sea Logistcs Operational Care Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and following up on operational and documentation processes for ocean export shipments, ensuring accurate and timely processing of bookings, documentation, system updates, and shipment information.
How you create impact
- Manage the booking process with Carriers and Co-loaders, including requests, validations, confirmations, supporting documents, and ticket closure.
- Manage export documentation, including BAL, MBL, and OBL, as well as corrections, final documents, and transmissions to foreign customs.
- Assign and distribute shipments through BPA and generate house BALs for SCM (Shippers Consol) and BCM (Buyers Consol) shipments.
- Manage documentation and specific processes for general cargo, IMO, and LCL Co-loader shipments, including manual documentation and corrections through Carrier portals.
- Keep shipment information updated in the relevant systems, including monitoring foreign customs transmissions.
- Manage and monitor GSC tickets related to system updates and transmission errors.
What we would like you to bring
- At least 1+ year of experience in ocean freight, freight forwarding, customs, or related international trade operations.
- Experience in Maritime Export operations
- Advanced English proficiency
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage operational tickets, corrections, and transmission issues.
