How you create impact
- Lead and oversee the Road Logistics operations team at a national level.
- Ensure compliance with established operational, administrative, and financial processes.
- Manage the operational performance of the area according to customer requirements and agreed service levels.
- Monitor operational KPIs, identify deviations, and lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Support the implementation of new customer accounts with transportation providers.
- Ensure the availability of transportation equipment according to customer needs.
- Manage and follow up on transportation provider performance, including QBRs.
- Support customer visits, QBRs, and new account implementations.
- Address operational issues and support the team in resolving situations beyond their control.
- Contribute to rolling forecasts and target setting.
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures and identify errors in OTM/FSL for correction.
What we would like you to bring
- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Industrial Engineering, Transportation, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Road Logistics.
- 2+ years of leadership experience.
- Knowledge of:
- Freight Forwarding
- Customer Service
- Operations & Finance
- Strategic Business Development
- Strategic People Development
- Advanced English.
- Availability to travel.
- Valid driver’s license, passport, and visa.
