GA Spot Pricing Specialist

As a GA Spot Pricing Specialist, you will support Global Account spot quotation activities within Sea Logistics, ensuring accurate, timely, and market-aligned quotation handling across countries and stakeholders. You will work closely with Global Pricing, GKAM/KAM, country pricing teams, and operational stakeholders to support profitable business growth and reliable quotation execution.

How you create impact

  • Manage end-to-end spot quotation activities for Global Accounts, from request intake and quotation creation to customer submission, follow-up, and closure.
  • Create and maintain accurate quotation records through SeaQuote via CoreLog, ensuring process consistency and proper documentation.
  • Coordinate with country pricing teams when additional rate input, validation, or clarification is required.
  • Collaborate with GKAM/KAM, Global Pricing, Network KAM, and operational stakeholders throughout the quotation process.
  • Support the communication and handover of awarded business to the relevant commercial and operational teams.
  • Contribute to process standardization and continuous improvement in alignment with Global Pricing guidelines and best practices.
  • Handle quotation requests with a high level of responsiveness and ownership, particularly for time-sensitive requests.

What we would like you to bring

  • 2+ years of experience in maritime/ocean freight pricing, ideally within the freight forwarding industry.
  • Experience with customer quotations and end-to-end / door-to-door pricing, including knowledge of pricing components and ocean freight rates.
  • Good knowledge of Incoterms and understanding of the ocean freight market.
  • Experience with SeaQuote, CoreLog, SeaPricing, or comparable pricing/quotation systems is a plus.
  • Strong commercial mindset, communication skills, and ability to collaborate with customers, Sales, pricing teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a complex, multi-country environment, managing time-sensitive requests with accuracy and ownership.
  • Advanced English Proficiency.
