Project manage the customer implementation of continental Anchor projects (projects that include full or part of elements of hyper automation, new facility construction, multiple sites, site consolidation, KN warehouse management system interface with Automation WCS, systems migration, high profile strategic customer, distribution) and deliver on-time and on-budget according the customer and K+N requirements.
Guide other projects in the continent assuring high standards of delivery and compliance.
Support the development of country resources in terms of skills + knowledge levels,
Formulate future needs and requirements for the PM team to continue to drive excellent implementations for the customer.
How you create impact
- Full Project Management Scope (incl scope, change request, financial, etc.) from the day to day running of the project and being the main point of contact for the customer throughout the project (trusted advisor) to leading the weekly project meetings Internally and with the customer and driving the scheduled steering team meetings and status reports.
- Managing the project team to ensure project delivery, providing indirect feedback on individuals performance.
- To manage other PM within the region.
- Train other and trainers on PM know-how.
- Define best practices in the area(s) of expertise.
What we would like you to bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 to 10 years of Project Management experience, preferably in Contract Logistics or Supply Chain.
- Proven experience leading complex warehouse start-ups, customer implementations, automation, or systems migration projects.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and projects across multiple countries.
- Strong knowledge of project scope, budget, risk, change-request, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English is required; Spanish or another regional language is desirable.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or an equivalent Project Management certification is preferred.
- Availability to travel internationally at least 40%.
