Responsibilities

Commercial & Pricing

• Support and execute the national LCL pricing strategy across key trade lanes, balancing market competitiveness with profitability.
• Provide commercially sound pricing support for global RFQs, local tenders and strategic customer opportunities.
• Govern the accuracy, timeliness and integrity of LCL pricing within Seaquote.
• Drive yield stability through regular tariff reviews and updates.
• Work closely with Sales and operational teams to identify pricing, yield and commercial improvement opportunities.
• Oversee pricing support activities and ensure strong controls, accuracy and adherence to established pricing governance.
  
  

Operational Excellence

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve service reliability, reduce cost to serve and improve turnaround times.
• Govern CFS and domestic transport vendor performance through clear SLAs and KPI management.
• Monitor operational performance including utilisation, transit times, cost per shipment and service failures.
• Support the resolution of complex customer escalations and LCL operational issues.
• Lead the development of SOPs for onboarding complex customers and new operational requirements.
• Deliver training and coaching on pricing tools, systems and LCL operational best practice.
  
  

Governance, Risk & Compliance

• Maintain end to end pricing governance, including approval pathways, audit trails and tariff version control.
• Ensure pricing publication, tariff updates and tender submissions are accurate and controlled to minimise financial leakage and commercial risk.
• Ensure vendor SLAs, SOPs and pricing processes are documented, compliant and audit ready.
• Provide transparent performance reporting to senior stakeholders, highlighting risks, variances and corrective actions.
• Ensure LCL pricing and operational activities remain aligned with Kuehne+Nagel's global frameworks and governance requirements.

Requirements

• 7+ years' experience within Sea Logistics, Freight Forwarding, LCL or a related commercial and operational environment.
• Strong experience in LCL pricing, yield management and commercial governance.
• Demonstrated experience supporting global RFQs, tenders and strategic customer pricing.
• Strong understanding of LCL pricing systems, tariffs and commercial controls.
• Experience managing operational performance and external vendor relationships.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience working with P&L or profitability targets.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using KPI driven performance reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across Sales, Operations and senior leadership.
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage at management level.
• Ability to lead, coach and influence teams across a national network.
• High level of ownership, accountability and commercial judgement.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
