How you create impact
As a Road Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for initiating and managing the supply chain process by creating and amending external and internal transport orders. Ensure accurate and timely booking shipments, compliance with service level agreements and effective communication with carriers an internal stakeholder. Some of the position expectations are the following:
- Perform digital and manual booking creation for road freight shipments.
- Provide accurate and timely information and feedback to internal teams regarding all bookings.
- Ensure compliance with service level agreement and operational standards.
- Participate in onboarding new clients and integrating new countries into the Road Logistics department.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in Transport Management Systems.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators related to booking efficiency and capacity utilization.
What we would like you to bring
- High School Diploma
- Experience in freight forwarding (preferred).
- Technical or bachelor's degree in logistics (preferred).
- Proficiency in English (written and oral).
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement practices (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools.
- Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective and persuasive communication
The schedule we offer: Monday to Friday 7:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Hybrid work model.
This position is subject to a rotating schedule and shift, which may vary between day, night, or mixed shifts. Your days off will also be assigned by the company, and both your schedule and days off may be modified with a minimum notice of five (5) business days.
